"Max Biaggi has broken his left ankle after falling from a Supermotard bike, in preparation for his wild-card entry in the upcoming Italian round of the FIM Supermoto world championship. Max is currently in the care of MotoGP physician Dr Claudio Costa and will be undergoing an operation - to be conducted by an expert in his form of injury - either today (Monday) or tomorrow in Lyon, France. Biaggi is expected to require a two-month recovery period following the operation, which would mean that the four-times 250cc world champion will miss the next HRC test session at Jerez on November 23-25, but should be fit to ride once the winter testing ban is lifted in mid-January"

I have to say that he is really unlucky. Now, that he had the chance to driver for the official tea. Who knows how ready will he be for the beginning of next season.
