There is no doubt that this kid is a genius and has an enormous talent. BUT, do you think he can make his mark in the motoGP class? Lots of people say he just has not got the build to handle the brutish power of the 4 strokes. Then again, little Loris has managed it! Personally I would love to see him battle alongside Rossi and we could be in for a golden age of bike racing, not really seen since the days of the Schwantz Doohan Rainey battles (I'm showing my age now!!) So, what do you all think?

I think Dani can do very good in the Moto-GP. I think it's bullnuts that he's too small. Look at Vale. He's the worldchampion and he's also very skinny. I think it's your talent that matters!!!!

I agree with you Sandra. I think he should stay for a few more years in the 250 CC and then go to the Moto-GP. But I do believe that when he does go the Moto-GP that he will be very good!

Yes..but Kato also spended some time in different classes before he went to the MotoGP class.. Samething with Pedrosa.. I agree with the others.. let him stay in in the class he is now for at least another season and then maybe to MotoGP

I think Dani is fantastic and has a huge future, but I also think he should spend one more year in 250cc before moving up - which seems likely. Dani is still so young, and at just 49kg and 5'6" this makes a big difference to Rossi - at 67kg and 183cm. This is quite a big difference. I don't think it matters if you are thin so much as it does that you have an overall weight/height that is sufficient to wrestle around 200kg of steel. But, like Borisminimoto, I too would love to see more than just Vale at the front.

Yes, he is staying there, that is true. Although he kicked serious butt on the RC211V yesterday, testing at Valencia. He lapped to within 0.6 seconds of Edwards' fastest lap on race day Sunday!! motogp.com has the full details

I also heard that he is physically too small for Moto GP. However, he still can grow, he is only 17. I think he has a great future in front of him.

Pedrosa weighs only 45 kilos, i think, and he is defenitly shorter than Rossi. We will see. If he develops physically he will be in Moto Gp, and there he can really beat a lot of people.
